Gabriel Fort is the founder of Firmitas Law, a Miami-based law firm dedicated to navigating the complexities of zoning, land use, and real estate development law. With a passion for shaping vibrant and sustainable communities, Gabriel brings both legal expertise and a deep understanding of Miami’s unique architectural and cultural landscape to his practice. A fourth-generation Miamian, Gabriel is instilled with a lifelong appreciation for the city’s evolution and its potential for thoughtful, impactful growth.
Gabriel holds a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation His academic foundation, combined with his practical experience, allows him to guide clients with a creative approach. He works closely with architects, developers, and property owners to help them bring their visions to life. Gabriel received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University where he studied landscape architecture and urban planning, was a varsity letter rower, and studied abroad in Rome.
When not practicing law, Gabriel enjoys sailing, boating, and rowing on Biscayne Bay, and exploring Miami’s vibrant ecosystem. He is driven to create legal pathways that support innovative design and sustainable development.
Gabriel is admitted to the bars of Florida, New York, and Massachusetts. Previously, Gabriel practiced law at Akerman LLP, a leading national law firm.
